Warranty & Aftercare
Are Sealy mattresses heavy and difficult to lift for cleaning?
Not at all! Sealy mattresses are designed for easy handling. Our Titanium Coil technology makes the mattress light and incredibly durable. Additionally, our mattresses come with side handles, making it easy to lift and rotate when needed.
Do I need to rotate my mattress?
Yes! To keep your mattress in great shape, we recommend rotating it every 3–6 months. This helps prevent uneven wear and ensures lasting comfort. Browse our Mattress Care Guide for more tips!
Will my mattress feel like the one I choose in the store when it is delivered?
There may be a “settling in” period of 6 to 8 weeks for a new mattress. Your new Sealy mattress will consist of new foams, silks, wools and cottons; therefore, these new materials require time to conform to your body shape and weight.
What if my mattress has an odour when it is delivered?
Any odour you detect when your mattress is first delivered is generally a short-term issue and should not last any longer than two weeks.
However, if you are more sensitive to odours, we suggest leaving your windows where the mattress is placed and opened to enhance ventilation.
What if there is noise with my mattress?
Noise may come from the mattress or the base. The best way to determine the source of the noise is to isolate the mattress from the base onto the floor and then attempt to replicate the noise.
Sometimes, you may hear a noise coming from your mattress or bed base. To find out where it’s coming from, try placing the mattress directly on the floor and gently move on it to see if the sound is still there.
- If the noise stops: The issue might be with the base—such as loose castors (wheels), headboard brackets, or the base rubbing against a wall or power socket.
- If the noise continues: It could be the mattress. This may happen if it’s been used for sitting, jumping, or putting heavy pressure on one spot.
If the sound happens while you’re sleeping and it’s affecting your rest, please reach out to our Customer Care Team. We’ll arrange a visit to investigate the issue.
